Remove Pages
Click any page to mark it for removal, then download a new PDF with just the pages you kept. Nothing is uploaded — everything happens in your browser.
How removing pages works
Click any page's thumbnail to mark it with a red cross — that page will be left out of the download. Click it again to change your mind. You can also type page numbers directly (like "2, 5-7") into the box instead of clicking. The rest of the document — page order, formatting, images — stays exactly as it was. This only removes whole pages; to keep a page but trim its margins, use Crop PDF instead.
How to use Remove Pages
- Drop your PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Click each page you want to remove. A red cross marks it; click again to keep it.
- Or type page numbers and ranges such as 2, 5-7 into the box. This is quicker for long documents.
- Click Remove pages to download a new PDF with only the pages you kept.
Good to know before you start
- At least one page has to stay. To remove everything except a few pages, Extract Pages is quicker.
- Removing pages doesn't renumber anything printed on the pages, so a printed page 7 stays page 7. Use Add Page Numbers afterward if you need fresh numbering.
- Password-protected PDFs need their password removed first.
Remove Pages: frequently asked questions
Can I get a removed page back?
Your original file isn't changed, so you can always start again from it. The downloaded copy is the only file without those pages.
Does removing pages make the file smaller?
Usually yes. Images that were only used on removed pages are left out of the new file, so removing scanned pages can cut the size noticeably.
What is the difference between Remove Pages and Extract Pages?
Remove Pages keeps everything except the pages you mark. Extract Pages keeps only the pages you choose. Use whichever needs fewer clicks.
Can I remove blank pages from a scan?
Yes. Blank pages are easy to spot in the thumbnails. Click each one and download the cleaned file.
